Project Description

Author J.N. Kapferer wrote: “When buying a luxury product, the buyer is buying a little piece of the country the product comes from.” That statement perfectly describes Highland Park 56: the oldest whisky ever to be released by the remote Orkney distillery. The whisky is an exquisite piece of Orkney born from the archipelago’s nature, culture, and craftsmanship, and this idea became the basis of our launch campaign.

Created in collaboration with master miniature artist and filmmaker Sebastian Jern, our Hero Film takes us inside the 56 bottle, where we discover the magic of Orkney and the story of the whisky’s creation. The final scene reveals the action is taking place on a floating island, a nod to the remoteness of Orkney that elevates the whisky beyond the ordinary.

Every scene and object in the film was meticulously crafted by hand, paying attention to the smallest details, down to the real numbers used on the casks. In addition to the Hero Film, we created a campaign Key Visual and a suite of photography to support the campaign, depicting the whisky on the floating island, in a quiet luxury setting, and reflected against the golden sky. The result is a campaign that celebrates craftsmanship and beauty, a fitting homage to this Rare, Remote, and Remarkable whisky.
